We’re currently recruiting experienced and dedicated Children and Young People’s Support Workers to support children and young people, up to 18 years old with mental health, emotional, and behavioural needs.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in helping children and young people achieve positive outcomes by:

  • Providing personalised care and emotional support
  • Developing strong, trusting relationships with children and their families
  • Managing challenging behaviours using calm, therapeutic approaches
  • Working closely with other professionals to deliver high-quality care
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and essential life skills
  • Following care plans and contributing to their ongoing development
  • Supporting with appointments, education, and recreational activities
  • Maintaining accurate records while prioritising each child’s safety and wellbeing

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 6–12 months of paid UK experience in a similar support role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or equivalent)
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
  • A compassionate, patient, and caring approach
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour day/night shifts, including weekends
  • Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Enhanced DBS (Child & Adult Workforce)
